White hawks lack the typical pigmentation seen in their species, resulting in a striking white plumage due to a genetic mutation that inhibits the production of melanin.
Because of their rarity, white hawks can sometimes carry special significance or symbolism in different cultures, representing unique spiritual or symbolic meanings associated with vision, purity, and rare beauty.
However, due to their scarcity, they are rarely seen in the wild. Our founder Alexander Berezowski has been dubbed “The Whitehawk” and wether this has anything to do with the name of the bird, the symbolism, or purely because it sounds cool, it’s more than appropriate to finally bring this brand to life with a particularly rarely-used combination of Dominican tobaccos from our boy Hostos.
We loved the blend from the start, something that shocked Hostos given his reluctancy to blend with this combination, and henceforth Whitehawk had a blend identity… A bold and highly complexed profile with a battle of sweet and savory flavors that highlight main notes of cloves, nutmeg, berries, sourdough, and peanuts.

We work with the best tobaccos on the planet and sacrifice our margins to enable affordability, allowing more people to access these high quality products that would be otherwise much more costly with different branding and multi-leveled retail structure.
Unless we are developing a special collaboration, we will not be selling brands not owned and developed by Cigar Detective for the time being. All cigar brands have been envisioned, sourced, and developed by our team with the purpose to fulfill the market’s wants and needs.
