This line comes from the hands of our good friend Erik Espinosa and his La Zona Factory. Honey Badger Maduro (yes, it comes in multiple wrapper variations) provides main notes of oak-wood, cocoa, and is complimented by undertones of coffee bean.
It’s always a pleasure to work with Erik and if there’s anything he may have in common with the animal is that Honey badgers are known for their bold nature. They fearlessly confront much larger animals and don't back down easily, reflecting attributes like courage, determination, and resilience.

We work with the best tobaccos on the planet and sacrifice our margins to enable affordability, allowing more people to access these high quality products that would be otherwise much more costly with different branding and multi-leveled retail structure.
Unless we are developing a special collaboration, we will not be selling brands not owned and developed by Cigar Detective for the time being. All cigar brands have been envisioned, sourced, and developed by our team with the purpose to fulfill the market’s wants and needs.
